Colour the world with your voice

Ga niet voor de gemakkelijke weg!

I present myself.. 🥁
In the Volkskrant Magazine 📰🗞with my father!🥳 I talk about (my) colours, my art, my vision and my ancestry/childhood.
How beautiful is that 💚🦜🌈
I am curious to hear how this article lands.
Obviously, there is always more to the story, that’s why I told you I’m doing a full version of other things that have been said in the interview as a personal vision in the form of an addendum.
On another note.. ☝🏼👀
(Grab your popcorn.. 🍿🌽🔥)
In the article they mixed up my roots: Where I stated “Indisch” (Indo 🦎– The emojis don’t have our rebellious “Indo Melati” flag) they replaced it with “Indiase” (Indian 🇮🇳🥻).
This is amongst one of the biggest confusions people tend to create in the Netherlands, due to generally not knowing their own history.
My ethnicity and heritage haven’t been corrected yet. I did send an e-mail about it, so I’m sure it will all be fine soon.
I’m not too upset about it.
[UPDATE: It will be corrected tomorrow morning.
UPDATE: It is corrected ❤🔥]
At the end I am a world citizen and identify as such🌎🌈🦜; I just want you to know I took an effort to officially correct what has been put on paper incorrectly.
The irony is however, that people always tend to confuse my ethnicity.
Overall, people think I’m from Latin-America- which makes sense- because I lived there and my Spanish is at a native level.
But in an article about authenticity and my roots/childhood, this is truly misplaced..
